Who should apply: Anyone aged 16+ who is looking for an Apprenticeship. If successful, you’ll be joining a large, established, international company that put their employees first. You’ll be entering a career – not just a job. You’ll be learning about the Logistics sector and creating a solid foundation for future growth within a key industry


Who is it for: The employer is one of the largest logistics company in the country with over 15,000 members of staff. They work with some incredible companies such as ASOS, ASDA, Carlsberg, Weetabix to name a few) and have more than 140 sites in the UK. As part their commitment to attracting and keeping talent, they’re launched a nationwide apprenticeship programme offering opportunities to over 100 enthusiastic and ambitious individuals each year


A bit about the role : The employer is committed to attracting and keeping the best talent. We know our people are our future, whether that be management, graduates or school leavers. By becoming one of their apprentices you will have the chance to earn while you learn, working towards a nationally recognised qualification in a Business Administration Apprenticeship.


  • Take information from company databases and input into spread sheets to create daily, weekly and monthly reports.

  • Key in and check staff timesheets.

  • Key in vehicle trips and utilisation daily logs

  • Produce routine reports and graphs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

  • Produce date on vehicle utilisation, productivity figures, staffing levels, weekly forecasts, holidays, sickness and absences.

  • Produce RTW information for individual stores.

  • Produce duty rota for the warehouse.

  • Produce attendance logs for the warehouse.

  • Produce graphs and presentations, when required.

  • File and update reports.

The ideal person will have an eye on the future, because our commitment to you goes way beyond the 12-month apprenticeship. You’ll be prepared to work hard in return for the opportunities that XPO will offer you


Whilst there is no guarantee of a permanent position at the end of the 12-month programme, the employer is committed to training and developing colleagues for the future. This scheme is designed to attract the managers of the future. If successful in securing a permanent position you can expect to earn circa £15,000pa. In addition, successful apprentices will be eligible to apply for the Fast Track Talent Programme which is open to all internal, non-graduate employees.
