The Bridge AP Academy is situated in Fulham. The academy delivers a comprehensive, personalised academic and vocational curriculum for up to 70 secondary learners, in small class sizes. The Bridge AP Academy works in close partnership with local schools, agencies and parents/carers, to give the best support possible to its young people.
TBAP Multi-Academy Trust includes The Bridge and Courtyard AP Academies, which have both been judged `outstanding` in all areas by Ofsted. We deliver excellent Alternative Provision Education across four London Boroughs and in Cambridgeshire, as well as via our innovative educational Residence in Crawley and a new 16-19 Academic AP Academy in Fulham. Through our Teaching School Alliance we are also able to deliver exciting CPD and research programmes at all levels.
At TBAP, learning is at the heart of our approach. We offer a holistic curriculum that integrates social care and therapeutic interventions with education, to provide appropriate support for some extremely vulnerable young people.
This job is about more than teaching. It`s about turning around the lives of vulnerable learners. Yes, it`s a big challenge. But it`s also an inspiring opportunity to teach SEMH learners.
What we are looking for:
• If you are a qualified instructor who has a Level 2 in Hair and Beauty, we would like to hear from you
• Your schemes of work will be creative, varied and flexible enough to promote differentiation, and commitment to pupil progression will inform every aspect of your teaching practice
• It is very important to have a sound understanding of good practice in Assessment for Learning
• Previous school experience desired although not essential.
