International Web Content Executive - Swedish National
About the Company
MyOptique Group, Europe’s largest online optical retailer.
Founded in 2004, Glasses Direct revolutionised the opticals business by cutting out the middleman and providing great value for money, backed by excellent customer service and technical expertise.
The business acquired Sunglassesshop, Europe’s largest designer sunglasses seller, in 2011 and LensOn, the leading independent Nordic contact lens retailer, in 2012. With the launch of the luxury eyewear online boutique MyOptique.com at the beginning of 2013, and further acquisitions in Germany with Netzoptiker and 4Care in 2015 the group now serves all sectors of the eyewear market.
Today the business operates across 10 different European markets, with over 60% of sales now coming from outside of its home UK market.
The company has served over 750,000 customers to date, and is currently shipping out 2,000 pairs of glasses, sunglasses or contacts a day – or one every 40 seconds.
