Pipe & Climate, one of our trade brands, are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join the team at our Brentford branch, and build on your career with a business that can provide you with industry-leading training and excellent opportunities for progression.

We are looking to attract new talent with the launch of a new induction and development programme within our national network of branches.

About the Role:

Essential to the smooth running of this branch, you will be responsible for the receipt, checking, movement and storage of incoming goods, as well as the picking, packing and labelling of products prior to despatch. You will also assist in other areas as required, including helping to serve customers at the counter, providing you with a solid grounding in branch operations, plus the necessary skills to progress your career.

Whilst you might not always be in front of customers, everything you do behind the scenes contributes to a great customer experience, so accuracy and speed are crucial to ensuring our customers come back time and again.

About You:

You don’t need years of experience working in a warehouse. In order to be selected for a telephone interview, your application must demonstrate:

* An interest in and understanding of great customer service

* A team-working ethic – everyone contributes to the success of the branch

* Good administrative skills to keep on top of the sales process and your customer orders

* Great communication skills, and [ideally] a full driving licence

And the following would be beneficial, but not necessary:

* Warehouse or stores experience

* Relevant product knowledge

* A fork Lift Truck licence

* A full driving licence

But do not worry if you don’t have loads of directly relevant experience, because we will provide the training – our priorities are an enthusiastic and flexible approach, plus initiative and commitment. Our training programme will help you build those all-important skills to flourish in our business. If you’re interested, this could lead you to gaining a nationally recognised qualification too.
