Advanced learning tutor (0.5fte)

18 hours per week

We are looking for an exceptional candidate with a Psychology, Humanities and/or Social Science background to teach on Advanced Learning (level 3) pathways within the School of Humanities and Applied Sciences.

The role will also incorporate being the personal tutor for 1 or more cohorts of students, providing pastoral and tutorial support, including guidance on UCAS applications and writing of personal statements, preparation for university interview and guidance on student finance.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of teaching adult learners within accredited provision as well as excellent organisational, presentation and IT skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
