Job Summary

An opportunity for Overnight GPs to work for our exceptional Out of Hours service across London. You will be joining a community of GPs whose focus is on delivering an extremely high standard of care to all of our patients.

Your role as a Care UK GP will afford you a great deal of variety in your work and care of patients. As a Care UK GP working overnight you will be consulting with patients on the telephone who have been passed to our service by NHS 111. You will also engage in face to face consultations in clinics and during home visits, supported by your own driver.

Working in an Out of Hours environment has often been described as lonely and risky with a great deal of pressure and few rewards.

At Care UK we see things differently. We work hard to ensure that you are part of the Care UK family. Working overnight you will be an autonomous clinician but one who is ably supported by a team of coordinators and drivers along with other GPs working in our services across London.

We recognise the importance of Medical Leadership and you will be strongly supported by the Medical Leads across London. You will also benefit from the extensive educational programme Care UK provides in London and through regular review we will support you with training needs which in turn will help support appraisal and revalidation.

Working with the Regional Director and Governance Manager the Regional Medical Director supports the London team in driving quality through the highest standards of governance and rigorous achievement of standards.

We are happy to accept both full and part time applicants (40 and 20 hours per week respectively) and GP’s that would be interested in self-employed overnight opportunities.
