Full time or part time (minimum 0.70 FTE). Fixed term contract for 12 months.


You will work on research projects related to families of children. You will assist with data collection, data input and database management, quantitative data analyses and write up for publication. The role will focus initially on two studies in particular. One study is currently recruiting families of children with an intellectual disability. The second study is a large-scale evaluation of the effectiveness of parenting programmes for parents of children at risk.


You will have a good (2:1 or 1st class) degree in Psychology, Education, or a closely related discipline; and strong quantitative skills. You will have a good understanding of research methods and a demonstrable skill in quantitative statistical analyses. You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team; plan and deliver work to strict deadlines; write clearly and accessibly for different audiences; and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders,
including parents of children with a disability.


You will be interested in building a strong research profile through large-scale
quantitative research and peer-review publications.
