Senior Conference Producer – Global Life Science Conferences

Base salary up to £32,000 + Profit Share

Based in London + International Travel

This role will suit an experienced conference producer with a life science degree who would like to work on global high quality life science conferences.

The company

This Media & events organisation have been successfully creating and delivering inspirational events on an international scale for over 10 years. The Life Science division in London is expanding, they are looking to recruit a life science expert into the team as a Senior Conference Producer to work on large scale international conferences. The conferences focus on global topics within health & life science sector and the events bring together leading names within the industry and create a platform for information to be shared, discussed and networking to take place.

The role

As a Conference Producer you will be responsible for production of the conference. This includes; the research, programme development, speaker acquisition, marketing and project management of the life science conferences within your portfolio. Producers work alongside the sales, marketing & operations teams to ensure the event achieves its goals and meets the needs of the audience and sponsors. The role will be supported by a strong and welcoming team. Travel will be required as the events are delivered across the globe.

Within this role you will spend lots of time meeting and speaking over the phone with industry experts to develop your knowledge, keep up to date with new information and create new conference topics – you must therefore be comfortable communicating over the phone & face to face.

Within this position you will work on 1 or 2 existing events and a new launch. These events can be based anywhere in the world so travel will be part of your role.

The person

• To be considered for this position you will be educated to degree level, with a degree in life science or a related subject and must have at least 12 / 18 months business experience as a conference producer.


• You must have the ability to research new information, analyse and communicate it to the business community.


• This role will have both face to face interaction with internal and external contacts and lots of phone based communication therefore you need to enjoy and be confident interacting & communicating with others.


• You need to be strong at planning & organising plus be experienced at working too and achieving deadlines.


• You will be team orientated and very commercially minded with great business acumen.
