United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland: Training Manager


Location: Preferably based in Oxford (some remote working can be considered)


Reporting to: Director of Consultancies and Training


Line Management: Training Coordinator, Training Officer and Project Coordinator


Salary/Grade: £35,000 – £38,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Pension contribution (opt in) of 5% to INTRAC’s pension scheme


Full/part time: Full-time. The minimum general working hours are 37.5 hours a week.


An exciting opportunity to strategically manage, develop and oversee all of INTRAC’s training work including long-term projects, tailor-made training workshops and online trainings for individuals and organisations working with civil society globally.


INTRAC is looking for a dynamic individual to manage our training services and other forms of supporting the professional and personal development of individuals working in and for civil society. As Training Manager you will be responsible for the strategic development and delivery of INTRAC’s training services portfolio, working closely with INTRAC’s staff and network of associates. You will manage INTRAC’s global tailor-made training work including both long-term and short term assignments and its UK-based face to face and online courses open to anyone. You will be expected to manage and develop strong relationships with clients from all types of civil society organisations (CSOs), from grassroots and activist organisations to large international level NGOs, as well as bi- and multilateral donors, foundations to develop and deliver tailor-made solutions.
