Consultant Social Worker and Family Support Worker Vacancies




OneOneCoCo is recruiting a Consulting Social Worker and Family Assessment Support Workers to join our East London based family assessment and support service.


We are looking for committed and motivated individuals that work well in a team and are able to use own initiative.


Attention to detail, excellent people skills, observation skills and a good standard of written English are required.


Applicants with work experience of domestic violence, child development, mental health learning disability and young people services would be at an advantage.


Consultant Social Worker — £25 per hour


OneOneCoCo’s lead Social Worker joins the multi-disciplinary consultancy team at OneOneCoCo in providing a high standard of guidance, support and advice to the case management team.


This is a sessional role which attracts and hourly rate of £25 per hour. We require a commitment of 26 hours per month.


Suitable candidates will have:


  • Minimum of three years post qualifying experience

  • Minimum of three years within child protection services

  • Experience of providing written and oral evidence to courts

  • Current HCPC registration

We are also looking for:


Family Assessment Support Workers — £9.61


Able to work with a shift rota. Shifts include:


– Nights – Waking


– Weekend shifts – daytime, evening, nights and sleep ins.


– Weekday shifts – daytime, evening, nights and sleep ins.


You will be working in a multi-disciplinary team supporting and assisting families and young people in establishing independence and developing appropriate routines during their assessment period. You will be responsible for supporting the achievement of positive outcomes for children, young people and their families.


The responsibilities of the role include:


– the contribution to and delivery of family assessments,
– ensuring the protection and well-being of children at all times
– maintaining a high level of monitoring and supervision.


Our ideal candidates will have:


  • Social care qualification

  • Experience in working with children and young people

  • Excellent communication,observation and analytical skills

  • Excellent skills in record keeping

Contracts agreed on a sessional/bank basis.


In return, we are offering ongoing personal and professional development and remuneration commencing at £9.61 per hour.
