The Company:

My client is a highly successful Legal Recruitment Firm in Central London. They are desiring hardworking and money motivated graduates to progress within the legal environment, for a money hungry and fun cooperate working environment.

Due to sustained growth, they are looking to hire 2 entry-level recruitment consultants to join their team and 5 Graduate resources to begin their career in the early stages of legal recruitment with progression into a Consultant role in less than 6 months! This is an excellent and lucrative opportunity for the right candidate. The role of a recruitment consultant is fast-paced, challenging and rewarding.

This specific client are renowned within the market for their success in generating Partner moves between a number of top Law Firms around the country, including between Magic Circle firms. They have specialist teams that dedicate their services to Private Practice and In-House recruitment of mid to senior level legal professionals. Our client places a huge emphasis on internal promotion and support their employees throughout their career within the firm with incredible financial benefits. Graduate will be led through the development programme by the company’s senior management and directors to gain the best advice, only to learn from the best!

The Role:

The top successful graduates will undergo a 2-3 month intensive training programme, to provide you with the ins and outs of the knowledge, skills and experience of working towards a role in legal recruitment. This will cover the 360 role, practise a professional phone call manner, role-play development, legal specialist terminology and knowledge that will equip you with becoming a successful Legal Recruiter. You will be exposed to each different team within the business in order to develop you individual strengths.

Day to Day Activities include:

• Resourcing high calibre legal professionals through CV searching and head hunting.


• Cold-call potential candidates.


• Qualify them.


• Build client relationships.


• Eventually, building on your legal knowledge from training, you will be expected to generate leads and develop new business within the market.


• Your resourcing methods will be using a variety of job boards, putting up job adverts, using Linkedin and gaining referrals from colleagues or other candidates


• Cold calling


• Candidate Interviews and Interview Preparation


• Account Management


• Negotiating Contracts


• General Admin Duties

Your Profile:

You will need to have the following characteristics:

• Self-motivated and Hardworking


• Sales and office experience or a basic understanding of with this entails


• Money Hungry


• Ambition


• Fast Learner


• Ability to work a 40 hour week


• Ability to work within a fast paced environment


• Interest in Law and Legal Affairs


• Degree level educated, grade must be 2.2 and above


• History of working hard & achievements
