MFL Teacher

Position: MFL Teacher
Pay rate: £140-£185 per day
Start date: Summer Term 2016
Our client in Islington is seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher of French and Spanish to KS4 to start in early April – potentially before if you are available.

This position might be made permanent for the right candidate who can prove themselves on this two term contract. The school has fantastic facilities and is easily commutable as it is very central. It has 1200 pupils and takes in students from all backgrounds. The school holds an OUTSTANDING rating through OFSTED. All teachers will be expected to deliver OUTSTANDING lessons.


Your role will involve:


-Collaborating with all teachers within department to ensure the Modern Languages curriculum is delivered at the highest standards
-Ensure all forms of assessment are being utilised so students know how they can improve and where if needs be.
-Attend monthly staff CPD sessions to share ideas of OUTSTANDING teaching
-Implement and follow school behaviour management policy
-Liaise with parents to reinforce partnership between school and home with use of the schools website and visual learning environment
– Ability to step in and cover for other departments when necessary (seldom)
