Our client, part of a major global business is part of the specialist solutions division and the first choice for Fire, Safety and Security Solutions. As a technical supplier they offer an unbiased approach to any design or project, no matter what the budget is. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will liaise with the Branch Managers or the Regional Director as specified and actively support and promote their specialist product groups technical and commercial basis to their internal and external customers. You will maintain and grow profitable sales by offering a technical / design and support service which exceeds their customer’s expectations.
Promote product ranges, targeted on Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting and security sales and margin and raise profile of the business within the contractor market. You will ensure that sales action of other products are made at every opportunity, design work for both internal & external customers, source potential customers and provide technical support and design for customers and branch management and staff.
Of graduate calibre, you will have a demonstrable background of contracting and/or lighting/fire alarm/security electrical products. Ideally, you will have at least 2 years “business to business” preferably in a distribution/wholesale organisation. You will have an excellent knowledge of the electrical industry, competitors, suppliers etc. You will be FIA / CIBSE / Lighting Institute Federation Approved and will certainly have the knowledge of operating to BS5839 and be able to complete Security Design.
