Contracted hours – 37.5 per week (Ward Managers tend to work Monday-Friday)

Our client is seeking a permanent Clinical Ward Manager to play an instrumental role in the lives of individuals, supporting and encouraging them to achieve their goals and ambitions.

As a Clinical Ward Manager working in our PICU unit, your main duties will be:-
Provide Clinical Leadership for nursing team
Monitor standards of care and take action where standards are not met
Regular and ongoing clinical supervision for all staff ensuring use of appropriate documentation
Ensure adequate and appropriate skill mix of staff for all shifts (24hr) and notification of vacancies to line manager through effective use of staff profile

As a Clinical Ward Managers you will:-
Hold current NMC registration
Have a desire to expand your professional development and support organisational change
Have a legal right to work in the UK
Be flexible and adaptable, well organised and able to manage time and workload effectively in line with the needs of the service.
