Credit Analyst / Risk Analyst (FX / Commercial Credit Services)

Position: Credit Analyst 
Location: London, EC2A 
Salary: £Competitive 


About the Role: 
The Credit Analyst will be reviewing and approving branch applications for derivative and settlement credit facilities. Within this role you will conduct regular portfolio risk monitoring and analysis to identify and address developing high risk situations, providing EMEA front line staff with support and training in processing credit applications and managing credit risk. 


This role will involve working with all branches within the EMEA region. 


About You: 
To be successful in this role, you will have training and work experience in the area of financial services with emphasis on commercial client risk management, ideally with experience in commercial credit services. With strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you will have a good understanding of financial accounting principles with an ability to interpret and analyze company financial statements and draw conclusions as to credit worthiness. 


In addition you will have a strong ability to build solid professional / business relationships and exercise prudent business judgement and take decisions within tight deadlines. With an understanding of corporate and commercial credit principles, you will have a passion for knowledge pertaining to current business and economic conditions and trends. 


Furthermore you will have strong computer skills, including a familiarity with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate level. You will be adept at building and managing spreadsheets, incorporating formulas, organising, maintaining and manipulating data for reporting purposes. 


The ability to speak multiple languages is beneficial but not essential. 


You may have experience of the following: Credit Analyst, FX, Foreign Exchange, Risk Management, Commercial Credit, Forex, Risk Analyst, Financial Services, Accounting etc.
