About the Role of Head of Maths – SEBD School
An important aspect of this role is full responsibility of the allocation of the department’s resources; it will fall to you to ensure that they are well kept and up-to-date. While working through the curriculum you will be give your students the tools to achieve well in every topic area by preparing and delivering well-structured lessons. As a Head of Maths you will be taking responsibility for the Maths team as part of the middle leadership team.

This Head of Maths post requires an experienced teacher who has the skills to push standards to improve and encourage their staff to strive for the best. You will be a creative Head of Maths who can deliver effective training to your colleagues and peers and provide an inclusive learning experience. For this Head of Maths role you must be an inspirational lead teacher who feels ready for school-wide leadership or a current talented Head of Maths who has more to offer who has a history of ‘Good’ or better classroom practice and previous experience teaching children with SEBD requirements.
