The client is a world food specialist and a well-known brand in their category with good trading relationships with the top 4 grocers. They are the UKs largest importer and distributor of their category of world food with over 1300 products. They believe in their people and have a great culture investing heavily in training and development. There is a lot of responsibility and the ability to work autonomously within the role and there is excellent career potential and growth for the right person.
Description
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Full responsibility for two of the top four grocery accounts including P&L
- Supporting, implementing and monitoring Joint Business plans.
- Assisting negotiations of pricing and promotional plans
- Monitoring competitor activity and market trends
- Identifying growth opportunities and building customer relationships
- Work closely with supporting functions such as Purchasing, NPD and Logistics.
- Helping to deliver at company’s trade shows
Profile
As the National Account Executive, you will:
- Ideally have some experience of P & L responsibility within Grocery
- Have had exposure to P&L
- Proven sales track record
- Graduate calibre
- Have strong communication and negotiation skills
- Be highly motivated with strong commercial awareness and the ability to use commercial knowledge to increase profit and business growth.
- As this is a development role ambition is key/crucial
Job Offer
The National Account Executive will be offered £27,000-£32,000 Basic Salary + Car + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
