Showroom Assistant - High End Rugs and Flooring - The Design and Interiors Recruitment Company - London

This role suits someone who perhaps has some experience gained within the interiors industry or possibly a graduate with a relevant degree who is looking for their first career move into the high end interiors industry.

The company supply a range of contemporary rugs and flooring solutions to the interior design industry. The showroom is also open to the general public.

The company require a confident and well-presented person to present the collection of rugs and flooring concepts to the clients. You will need to have a sensitivity for interior design in order to be able to suggest suitable items to fit in with the client’s interior design project.

The role will involve updating the in house data base with client orders and information, placing orders with suppliers, updating the client on order delivery dates, assisting in merchandising the showroom, maintaining its up keep and providing all round support to the showroom manager as and when required.

The company will supply full training on their products and brands. Some Saturdays will be required on a rota basis. Possibly 2 per month with a day off during the week.

Salary based on experience.
