A bit about the Team:


The QC team ensures the highest level of quality is maintained across all production assets, supporting creative teams by providing information that will facilitate producing the best content possible for the ASOS customer. The QC team are responsible for following and progressing standardized criteria checks when publishing all imagery for the live site.


Life at ASOS is fast paced – Studio shoot around 16,000 images every week so our team needs to ensure that these products are ready to go live on site as soon as possible; all the while ensuring that the images, catwalk and copy are consistent and authentically represent the ASOS brand. Not having a physical store, we need to make sure that every product shot is a close representation of the actual product and that the images look fantastic!


This role will help to form a strong, efficient and progressive QC Team by enabling the smooth running and clear organisation of workflow through the department. By coordinating image deliveries through production and continuous maintenance on site you will have a great understanding of the product life cycle. Acting as a point of call for the whole business for day-to-day image related issues and supporting the development of key projects within the department.


The Role:


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Responsible for the day-to-day processing of product assets through the QC department

  • Quality Assurance for all images through production and the website

  • Responsible for internal and external image related queries

  • Available to retouch ecommerce imagery when necessary

  • Responsible for the organisation of priority product through the department on a daily basis

  • Responsible for admin surrounding various projects within the department

  • Ensuring shoot guide/model directory is frequently updated with new content

  • Induction and training of new starters (QC Assistants)

  • Hold regular quality control reviews to ensure product imagery is accurate, to the highest standard and meets department criteria checks

What Success Looks Like:

  • Constantly achieving daily Quality Control target

  • Maintaining a consistent workflow across the team

  • The resolution of all queries in to the department

  • Always ensuring the highest level of quality is maintained across all production assets

  • Continuously supporting creative teams by providing information that will facilitate producing the best content possible for the ASOS customer

Skills and experience you will need:

Experience


  • Previous experience working within a production department

  • Basic knowledge of principles of Studio photography

  • Work within the fashion industry preferable

Skills

  • The ability to work quickly and efficiently with a strong eye for detail

  • Exceptional at multitasking and outstanding organisational skills

  • Strong understanding of digital asset and web management software, Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office programs in particular Outlook and Excel

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Strong numeracy skills
