Junior Marketing Executive (SEO and PR)

Do you have a flair for creative marketing and PR? Do you want to work with an innovative start-up? This is a fantastic opportunity to gain excellent experience across the whole marketing mix – from PR, advertising, social media and marketing to SEO and PPC.
Our client is a new medical helpline that provides customers’ with direct and speedy access to experienced UK doctors for confidential advice. Customers can email or phone a doctor and get treatments delivered to their home.
The main objective of the role is to help increase the company’s online authority by the on-going creation and distribution of content. This includes videos, written articles and social media.
Key Responsibilities:
• SEO and PPC analysis in order to direct social media activity and customers to the website
• PR support to the PR team who publicise the brand through stories, events and stunts
• Marketing and advertising agency liaison – collaborate with the creative agency to develop the online and offline marketing strategy and budget
• Provide assistance to the Partnerships team and proactively come up with affiliate marketing plans when necessary
Skills and experience required:
• Knowledge of SEO and PPC advertising
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Self-starter – curious, proactive and hardworking
• Superb attention to detail
• Team player
• Fast learner
• An interest in medical matters and sufficient sensitivity to deal with delicate topics in public
• Inquisitiveness in multimedia and social affairs
• Creativity with an interest and ability in graphic design would be a bonus – ideally familiar with Word Press and Adobe graphics packages
• Basic understanding of maths and confidence analysing data on an excel spreadsheet
• Excellent written and spoken English
