This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and highly committed Administration Assistant to join our growing organization.
The Role As the UK Office Administrator you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks. Main duties expense recording, filing, logistics/stocktake, accounts receivable and payable, post, banking, ordering stationary, answering phone and dealing with enquiries in a polite manner. The role will involve working with staff across the business, locally and internationally as well as interacting with the client base directly.
The successful candidate will therefore need to be able to structure their day and work independently and also have strong interpersonal skills to connect with and communicated effectively with all kinds of stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
* Processing invoices for UK clientele Preparing payment runs within the internet banking application
* Applying and reconciling payments to the business
* Efficient sorting, distributing and filing all post
* Completion of regular template reports and as required ad-hoc analysis, with an ability to be able to consider effective methods for presenting relevant data
* Ensuring that accounts are paid in a timely manner in line with the company’s credit policy
* Proactively notifying and as necessary creating payment plans for bad debtors and ensuring that these are adhered to
* Liaising with sales and support teams to help resolve disputes
* Logistics logging for all hardware in UK
* Stock take of hardware
* Filing of all paperwork
* Ensuring staff/office expenses are logged
* Assisting HR
* Banking
* Receptionist
* Ordering office supplies
Key Requirements:
* Approximately 1 – 2 years of experience in a general administration
* An accounting certificate or qualification would be an advantage but not mandatory
* Strong customer service attitude
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. High level Excel experience.
* Clean driving license is beneficial but not mandatory
* Working hours: Monday to Friday 9 – 5.30pm
* Must have the right to work in the UK
Training and guidance will be provided as necessary where the applicant might not have prior procedural experience, however it is expected that the candidate has an impeccable understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
