Reed Education are the fasting growing division within Reed Specialist Recruitment with 17 branch openings in the past 12 months. We are also expanding established teams and as a result are seeking a new consultant in the Hounslow Branch.

Business Development
Developing business opportunities through targeted cold calling, attending sales meetings, sales presentations, organisational visits and networking events
Winning new business through adopting innovative and creative approaches to selling Reed that makes us stand out from the competitors.
Growing business by exploring potential opportunities and selling solutions within our existing client portfolio
Creating business opportunities through proactive marketing of candidates
Building relationships with current and potential clients:
Fostering and developing close working relationships with clients to identify their current and future recruitment needs
Seeking to fully understand the requirements of clients’ roles to maximise success ratios when putting candidates forward for the position
Showing the necessary understanding of the recruitment processes and time scales to successfully manage client expectations
Understanding the processes, procedures and requirements of the clients’ internal recruitment systems
Delivering a world-class service that exceeds the expectations of clients
Matching vacancies to candidates
Closely matching the requirements of available roles to candidates skills, experience and goals
Actively promoting client vacancies using online and paper-based media
Clarify understanding of vacancy requirements with the client in order to present the most suitable candidates
Ensuring that employment legislation is adhered to under all circumstances
Ensuring that vacancies are filled according to agreed timescales
Candidate management
Ensuring that all data relevant to the recruitment process is accurately recorded using internal databases
Ensuring all processes and procedures are followed to meet legislative and internal quality requirements
Managing candidates’ expectations around the clients’ processes and procedures and gaining their commitment
Producing ad-hoc reports as required
Locating and matching suitable positions for candidates as quickly as possible
Sourcing candidates
Conducting marketing activity to attract new candidates to register with Reed
Pro-actively source candidates using database searches, online searching tools, networking and other methods
Working closely with candidates to evaluate their skills, experience and career goal
Fully preparing candidates prior to submitting them for vacancies

You Must have:
Results driven with natural sales ability
Experience of working in a customer or client facing role
Previous experience in sales
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
Proficient in the use of a range of computer packages such as MS Excel, MS Word and databases
