Applications are invited for a 4-year, full-time post-doctoral position working on a European Council Research Consolidator grant held by Professor Chris Chambers ( http://sites.cardiff.ac.uk/cubric/new-european-award-on-self-control-and-the-brain/ ). This is one of two available post-doctoral positions on this grant. The post-holder will be primarily responsible for advancing the arm of this project focusing on non-invasive brain imaging, brain stimulation and human cognition, and will also assist in the management and analysis of a large internet-based study undertaken in coordination with the media. We are particularly seeking applicants with a proven commitment to the principles and philosophy of Open Science.   (The second post is advertised under post number 4396BR)


Cardiff University’s Brain Research Imaging Centre (CUBRIC) will open in Spring 2016, housing a unique combination of facilities and expertise that will further its world-leading research in Neuroimaging, Cognitive Neuroscience and Biological Psychiatry. Period of appointment: 4 years, subject to a probationary period
