Security X-Ray screener - AY Aviation - Heathrow

Anderson Young Aviation are currently recruiting for a highly motivated professional Security X-Ray Screener to work landside in the Cargo Centre at Heathrow Airport
This position is a full time role working a shift pattern of:
7 days on & 3 days off then 7 days on & 4 days off
Working a mixed shift of days & nights
Your main duties will be the following:

• Conducting screening checks on packages and items through security- escalating and recording any concerns/ issues


• Operating scanning/ X-Ray equipment


• Conducting shift handover procedures at the start and end of each shift to ensure all matters of concern or note occurring during shift are passed on for purpose of service and incident management continuity


• Working as part of a team to safeguard the network air cargo


• Work within taut timelines ensuring all time critical deadlines are met


• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.

Level D/ Level E (Cargo Awareness Certificate)

Be fluent in spoken and written English

Great rates of pay starting from £7.60ph
