Trainee/Junior Recruitment Consultant

A vacancy has arisen for an extremely bright and hard working trainee/junior consultant to join us, learn the Driver Hire way and start on your career path as a successful Recruitment Consultant! You would be building on any existing sales, admin and customer services experience but also given one to one training on all aspects of the recruitment process the Driver Hire way.


You will need to be confident within yourself and take control and ownership of your duties. All of this must be coupled by strong admin skills, an interest in figures and a natural aptitude for relationship building.


This is an excellent role if you are looking to launch your career within the world of recruitment, and there is the chance of progression for the right person.


The successful candidate will work 40 Hours per week between 9:00 – 17:30 Monday to Friday, and will also need to participate in an out of hours on-call service once every three weeks (once trained).


Some of your duties could include:


  • resourcing for vacancies on various job portals

  • working with consultants on recruitment briefs

  • writing up and advertising job descriptions

  • booking in candidates for registration each day and sending registration emails/texts

  • interviewing candidates

  • Undertake research to identify prospective clients by gaining leads from candidates

  • chasing urgent references for temporary workers

  • entering candidates onto internal databases

  • general candidate compliance

  • daily inbox management

  • Brief candidates with in depth and accurate information in regards to any assignments

  • Brief clients with in depth and accurate information in regards to candidates being sent to complete assignments

  • Sending booking confirmation emails/texts

  • Assist in solving any problems/issues or general questions candidates or clients may have during assignments

  • ensuring feedback is recorded on databases and passed to management to follow up with clients

  • Participate in the office rota for 24/7 telephone response as and when required

  • Marketing Driver Hire’s services through e-mail, leaflets, sales letters, and social media platforms
