Associate Lecturer in Psychology (AC1/Grade 6)

The key duties of the role-holders will be to lead and contribute to the delivery, development, research and administrative support of Psychology programmes, which will include the academic and personal support of students.

A teaching qualification is essential for this role. A higher degree in a relevant subject area is desirable in addition to relevant professional qualifications and registration with a relevant professional regulatory body would also be desirable.

The successful candidate should demonstrate an awareness of current developments and priorities in Psychology as well as being able to facilitate the creation and maintenance of a range of links between academic and research initiatives and relevant stakeholders. Relevant teaching and programme delivery experience, as well as being able to undertake appropriate subject specific research and/or advanced creative practice and/or enterprise activity is essential.
