About the role


We are recruiting a Policy Advisor, UK and Europe, to join our London-based Results Based Advocacy Team.


Reporting to the Head of Results Based Advocacy, you will be responsible for MSI’s strategic engagement with a range of UK and European policy makers, practitioners and parliamentarians. You will increase resourcing and prioritisation of contraception and safe abortion services; and strengthen MSI’s visibility and profile as the leading global service delivery organisation for these services. You will develop an effective network of partnerships for MSI within both the UK and across Europe to support MSI’s global mission.

About you


You will bring a track record in effectively engaging and influencing senior policymakers, donors and agencies to deliver strategic outcomes. You will have an established network of relationships with politicians, decision makers, and agencies and a solid understanding of policy processes. You will be an analytical thinker who has the ability to see the bigger picture, proactively identify opportunities, tailor plans and adjust goals when circumstances change, with a clear focus on advancing MSI’s global mission. The ideal candidate will also some experience of working in developing countries.


The successful candidate will have the right to work in the UK and be pro choice on abortion.
