University of Southampton – Clinical Neuroscience




The South Hampshire ADHD Register (SHARe) is a large clinical research database established at the University of Southampton in collaboration with the local NHS providers. 


Working as part of a team under the direction of Professor Edmund Sonuga-Barke; your primary role will be to carry out assessments of ADHD children and their families to provide data for the SHARe database.


You will have a PhD* or equivalent professional qualifications and experience in Psychology, experience of carrying out assessments, including intelligence testing and have the potential to successfully develop analytical and writing skills.  Knowledge of ADHD will be advantageous. 


*Applications will be considered from candidates who are working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD qualification.  The title of Research Fellow will be applied upon completion of PhD.  Prior to the qualification being awarded the title of Senior Research Assistant will be given.

This position requires DBS Clearance at an enhanced level.
