United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland: Oxfam Shops Marketing Coordinator


About the role


This is an exciting opportunity for someone proactive and well-organised, with great communication skills and an affinity with charity shops, to join a busy marketing team, responsible for creating high quality marketing materials and campaigns for Oxfam shops.
Based in Oxford, in Oxfam’s Trading Division, the Shops Marketing Coordinator will work with the Shops Marketing team and Oxfam’s creative and communications teams to deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns. You will work closely with Oxfam shop teams across the country, both directly by spending time in shops as well as via Oxfam’s intranet groups and telephone, in order to understand their needs and requirements. You will provide marketing support and materials for local marketing activity which help shops to represent Oxfam and attract new supporters every day.


About you


You will have good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships. You enjoy providing practical and creative solutions to Marketing challenges.As a supportive colleague, you are able to work independently whilst knowing when to refer for advice. Organised and able to meet deadlines; you will be comfortable consulting widely across all levels and interpreting feedback to help inform decisions on marketing activities. You will have a keen interest in charity shopping and the retail environment. Although not essential, previous experience in a local marketing or retail marketing role would be desirable.

Hours: 21.6 per week (3 days)
