The College wishes to recruit a part time (30% FTE) Clinical Lead to support the delivery of the PGCert in Clinical Leadership for Children, Young People (CYP) and Families programme.


This post is available immediately on a fixed term contract ending at 31 December 2016.


The post will include the design, development and delivery of a range of modules; applying innovative and appropriate teaching techniques; identifying sources of funding and securing funds for own scholarly activities and providing academic leadership to those working within programme areas.


The post will involve working with the Director of CYP IAPT Programmes to ensure that the programme continues to meet national requirements and is updated in line with developments to the CYP IAPT curriculum. The post holder will also work with the Director of CYP IAPT Programmes to support the work of the CYP IAPT South West Programme Board and Exec.


The successful applicant will possess a depth or breadth of specialist knowledge demonstrated by a PhD, or equivalent, of the core knowledge relating to academic area in order to teach and support learning on academic area modules. The successful applicant will have a consistent track record of excellent teaching across a variety of modules and levels within their discipline as might be expected of a very experienced HE Teacher. The applicant will possess an in-depth understanding of Clinical Leadership to enable the development of new knowledge and understanding within the field. Staff at this level are expected to work towards Principle Fellow of the HEA and to attend formal CPD relating to this.
