As a result of exceptional growth, we are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join an established yet dynamic business within the lucrative IT Network Security sector.
This fantastic opportunity has arisen as a result of rapid expansion of this organisation over the last two decades, making its position as a market leader indisputable. The business has built and secured Domestic, European and Global IT Networks for some of the UK’s best known organisations, all managed from their state of the art Secure Operations Centre in London. The business is exciting and adaptable, servicing accounts worldwide with an impressive roster of prestigious enterprise level clients.
This is the perfect opportunity for an existing sales/account manager who has consistently achieved and exceeded targets who is seeking to take the next step in their career.


The Person


We are looking for a strategically focused, results driven individual with the ability to manage and grow major key accounts. You will have a proven experience of corporate account management (ideally with an IT background) and be able to position yourself alongside the company and their ethos as leading customer service professionals.


The Senior Account Manager is in a strategic position for the future of the business, taking on significant responsibility for growth. The Senior Account Manager position will allow the right candidate to develop their skill set and implement their own stamp on the business, helping to build upon the amazing successes they have already amassed.


The role


• Responsible for the overall relationship with key and existing customers
• Build, develop, nurture and maintain relationships with key customer contacts (C-level, director level, manager level, engineering level)
• Focus on all commercial elements of the relationship
• Developing and refreshing accounts plans
• Manage and improve all aspects of customer service & satisfaction

Essential skills


• Degree level education is desirable but not essential.
• Have a minimum of 4-5 years IT/technology sales experience (desirably within networks/network security.)
• Be able to manage, maintain and grow relationships with existing large accounts
• Be able to show a track record of account success and account development
