Established and successful blue chip company is looking for a graduate / trainee Application Support Analyst/ Technical Business Analyst to join their team. You will be provided with full and extensive training to become an experienced Application Support Analyst.

As an Application Support / Technical Business Analyst you will develop your customer service, technology and business skills.

Your main responsibilities will be:
* Supporting existing customers through issue resolution, problem solving and communication
* Communicating with and advising existing users of varying skills and ability
* Gathering requirements for, designing and testing new releases of the software
* Providing consultancy and analysis to existing users on performance and productivity improvement through automation
* Making presentations to colleagues and customers

You will be given early responsibility for discrete projects and will receive quarterly feedback.

In order to be successful for the Graduate / Trainee Application Support / Technical Business Analyst role, you must have the following:

* Client focused with an ability to build relationships and get on with users
* Fluent and conversational in English
* Logical, well organised and practical
* Confident and eager to take responsibility
* Computer literate (e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel) and able to pick up new concepts

* Any programming experience in spare time or from University would be a bonus

You must have an A Level (or equivalent) in Maths at A grade and also have good A Levels (or equivalents). Ideally you will be at degree level within a Technical subject – i.e. IT, Maths, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics and other associated subjects.
