Role:
Our client operates a popular website and one of the world’s leading e-commerce platforms. Despite millions of customer interactions daily, it isn’t particularly well-known for brand marketing. As the online travel category develops, people want to engage with brands, not websites. People know of this company, but don’t know what their brand stands for, and they need to change that. They want their partners and customers to be as passionate about their brand as they are.
We are looking for a Social Content Director to join their team in Bangkok, Thailand.
Responsibilities:
- Bring a love for travel and a desire to understand how this company can become one of the world’s great travel brands into the day to day
- Be fascinated by different cultures and the way brands are marketed across them and the myriad ways they consume media
- Be full of ideas informed by consumer insight, hyper connected to pop culture/social media, and driven by an undying desire to make it happen IRL
- Be a source of creative inspiration, ideation & strategy across always-on framework and ongoing campaigns
- Build an always-on/always-evolving content ecosystem that creates, manages, optimizes and coordinates the publishing of fresh content
- Build a learning framework to this end
- Connect the firm’s content ecosystem to ongoing campaigns in market
- Manage a cross-disciplinary team of content creators, strategists and project managers
- Identify and build an external network of content & production partners (film makers, photographers, writers, meme specialists, etc.)
- Build stronger integration between product & hotel content, and brand marketing
Requirements:
- Strong track record of working with good creative campaigns
- Strong intuition for consumer insight, talk/shareworthy content & quality creators/collaborators
- Experience in creating and executing talk-worthy content, and building an always-evolving ecosystem based on social platforms to amplify content
- Ability to iterate ideas to adapt and respond quickly to social sentiment
- Experience in creating multi-platform assets and managing social media platforms
- Proactive project management capabilities and experience in managing creative and production resources
- Experience in managing internal and external relationships to keep people inspired and motivated and working across disciplines and teams
- Ability to manage and maximize budgets
- Ability to measure quality/impact of content for future improvement
