This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to join Save the Children International (SCI) in a key role within its HR team in London, providing global leadership on recruitment strategy and best practice, .

The quality of the people at SCI is critical to achieving these breakthroughs. The successful candidate will play a central role in driving improvement and innovation in recruitment across the organisation, and ensuring that regional and country offices are provided with the support and tools they need to attract the best candidates to Save the Children.


A key priority in this role will be to lead the development and global implementation of a new e-recruitment system. Other projects will include building the capability of recruiters and hiring managers globally, influencing business improvements across the organisation, building competency-based recruitment processes and designing and delivering interview skills training. You will also act as a resourcing business partner to senior managers; and in cases of significant humanitarian emergencies, lead on international recruitment activity.


To be successful in this role, you’ll have considerable experience of managing a global in-house recruitment function in a large, complex organisation. You’ll be able to demonstrate the ability to drive continuous improvement and bring recruitment expertise across a full range of sourcing approaches. On a personal level, you’ll have the tenacity to succeed in a matrixed global organisation in which you will influence change through indirect line management chains. You’ll also share our commitment to improve the lives of children around the world.


The role has salary of c£60,000 per annum, alongside a competitive benefits package.
