Job Description


The role of an Education Consultant within Ampersand Education is a professional sales role which can often be quite tough and demanding, but for the right person is rewarding, exciting and a fantastic career. As a Consultant you will be involved in the following;


• Developing business relationships with new clients over the phone and face to face
• Maintaining working relationships with existing clients and finding innovative solutions to develop new business
• Sourcing candidates to match your clients recruitment needs
• Meeting candidates and preparing them for interviews
• Negotiating offers between your clients and candidates


Person Specification


As an Education Consultant, You will be targeted on both your business development activity and your financial performance on a weekly and monthly basis. Targets are realistic and there to be beaten.


Consultants can come from a range of backgrounds and having the passion, desire and thick skin to overcome obstacles and keep driving forward is essential.


In general, some key skills we look for are:


  • Great verbal communication skills

  • An ability to think on your feet and think creatively

  • The right mindset! Determined, honest and flexible with the determination to succeed.

On target earnings of £40,000 Year 1, £60,000 Year 2 and £100,000 Year 3, with a good basic salary.


Working hours:


We are there to support our schools when they need us most, so our general working hours are 7am-5pm through school term times, and 9am-4pm through the school holidays.
