rhubarb is expanding its family at the renowned Fenchurch Street.


Easily the most exciting new opening in London for 2015, Sky Pod Bar is the main bar at Sky Garden, which sits atop of the impressive Walkie Talkie building on 20 Fenchurch Street and houses 1 bar and 2 restaurants.


Managed by rhubarb, who have 18 years experience offering deliciously different food and drink and service standards that are second to none Sky Pod Bar serves daytime drinks and snacks through to late-night cocktails in a busy environment. There is now an exciting opportunity to join the ever-growing, dynamic team at Sky Pod Bar and be a part of the story rhubarb is writing.


We are recruiting a self motivated bartender , who is ready for a new professional challenge in this bespoke Premium environment;
Job role


  • Reporting into the Bar Supervisor you will provide prompt, efficient and timely customer service within a fast paced bar environment, setting your main focus of the bar operation to be speed and precision for the bar outlets for rhubarb at the Sky Garden.

  • To be fully versed in all duties within the Bar operation in order to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery proactively seeking improvements and reacting to challenges as they arise

  • Demonstrate an in depth knowledge of all beverages, menu items which will enable you to answer customer queries with confidence.

  • Service of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages as well as basic food and cocktail preparation.

Candidate profile


  • You will have a proven track record working within a similar FMG/ retail, bar or restaurant environment that is a close fit with rhubarb’s values.

  • Previous cocktail and bar experience

  • You will be an excellent team player, able to communicate at all levels and have the ability to inspire and lead a team.

Eligibility
