Sales Engineer

Stratus Lighting, part of WF Senate/ Rexel UK, has an opportunity for a Sales Engineer to join the team. You will support and promote our specialist lighting products on a technical and commercial basis to both our internal and external customers. You will maintain and grow profitable sales by offering a technical/design and support service which exceeds our customers’ expectations

The Role:

• 
  

  Promoting Stratus product ranges achieving sales and margin targets

  
  


• 
  

  Maximising sales of other product ranges

  
  


• 
  

  Complete lighting design work for both internal and external customers

  
  


• 
  

  Provide technical support and training for internal staff on all new products, running training events for staff and customers

  
  

The Person:

• 
  

  Knowledge of lighting products is essential

  
  


• 
  

  “Business to business” sales/business development experience is essential, preferably in a distribution or wholesale organisation

  
  


• 
  

  Good knowledge of electrical industry, competitors and suppliers

  
  


• 
  

  Proven sales record

  
  


• 
  

  Lighting Institute Federation (LIF) Certificate would be highly advantageous but not essential
