Salary: Up to £24,000
As the Facilities Assistant, you will be working alongside the Facilities Manager to assist in overseeing the training centre. You will act as the first point of contact for all training and catering requests and will ensure that all aspects of the training facility run smoothly and that the office is supported in an appropriate and professional manner.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
*Ensure that the meeting rooms are maintained to present the right image to clients and visitors.
*Ensure that rooms are set up for courses and conferences daily.
*At the end of each day, all rooms must be checked to make sure all equipment is turned off and all rooms with equipment are locked away every day.
*Setting up and testing AV equipment so they are fully operational.
*Loading presentations onto the training laptops in preparation of courses running.
*Dealing with miscellaneous office equipment.
*To liaise with the Facilities Manager and Meeting organiser over catering requirements and budgets for sandwich/buffet/formal lunches, evening reception, entertaining etc.
*Clearing rooms of cups, cutlery and rubbish during breaks and replenishing coffee stations and water supplies.
*Ensuring all training material is available ahead of each course being run.
*Receiving telephone messages relating to the training facility.
*Responsible for maintaining the Training Laptops up to date by updating them once a month.
*Collecting training material, deliveries, additional stationery, as required and store accordingly.
*To check and process invoices for catering supplies prior to approval from the Facilities Manager.
