Marketing Manager Financial Services

In this role you’ll be responsible for developing a clear and compelling narrative in regards to financial services. It will be your responsibility to develop and leverage an in-depth understanding of customer needs within Financial Services.

As Industry Marketing Manager, you’ll define the market opportunity for an industry and categorize what form of solution should be promoted to them from within the business. It’s essential that you have a fantastic knowledge of and interest in industry trends/ terminology, and are well equipped to act as an industry subject matter expert.

Other key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Creating content in the industry vernacular and understanding the demand type within your industry


• Contributing to industry-specific buyer personas, or refine existing buyer personas based on industry knowledge


• Identifying target accounts within the industry


• Building relevant content for industry inbound and outbound marketing activities


• Collaborating with a formal sales enablement function, industry solution specialists and/or sales operations on a well-defined sales enablement plan


• Performing competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and impending risks

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• 7 to 10 years + of relevant marketing experience


• Previous product/solution marketing and sales enablement experience


• Sirius Decisions Product Marketing and Management Model certification and awareness of Sirius Decisions methods and concepts


• The able to develop strategies to drive demand and awareness within specific target segments or verticals


• An empathetic attitude to a variety of sales resources, as well as the customer/ prospect base
