Job Description:


Now they’re looking for a smart, entrepreneurial and effective Marketer to help them hit their ambitious growth targets whilst building an amazing brand.


You are probably already working in a similar role within the Finance Industry.


The role


You will be working closely with the Senior Management team to implement the UK marketing strategy and ensure that lessons learnt are applied across their international teams.


Initially, you will be mostly responsible for managing their hugely important Direct Mail and Email channels, with a vast annual budget.


You will be responsible for:


Planning and running frequent mail and email campaigns that will sent to millions of small businesses across the UK.


A/B testing to find the best messaging, formats and target leads so that their communications become increasingly effective over time.


Developing new campaign ideas – they’re not afraid to be creative and experimental if you can take charge of producing a design and organising its implementation.


Over time they see the right candidate taking on increased responsibility and being given ownership of much of the UK marketing operations.


That would involve:


Working closely with specialists on channels such as PPC to ensure their work is aligned with the broader UK marketing strategy.


Getting to understand the UK customers better than anyone else in the team so that they can run pitch-perfect campaigns that speak to their needs.


Closely monitoring the budget, efficiency and other KPIs to ensure they hit monthly targets, make constant progress and achieve long-term objectives.


Assisting in building the company into a household brand that is known, liked and trusted by small and large clients across the country.


Candidate Requirements:


You will need:


1 – 4 years of marketing experience, where you have been both hands-on and strategic (2+ years preferred).


An analytical mind-set. You should be experienced and comfortable working in finance, managing large budgets and letting KPIs drive your decisions.


Basic design skills including familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and an eye for detail. More advanced skills are an asset.


Perfect written English so you can craft crisp, clear communication that sells.


Ambition, drive, passion and the desire to learn fast.
