The Client:

• We’re an ambitious and growing company, based in Enfield North London and delivering bespoke software solutions to clients in HR and Training all over the world.


• We’re looking for a software developer, but not just any software developer; we’re a bright, fast moving and flexible team and you’ll be working closely with the CTO, the CEO and the project managers. We’re looking for someone who keeps up to date, is curious and inventive in how they develop software and solve problems, knows the new technologies and gets their sleeves rolled up to make what we do even better. 3-4 years’ experience would be ideal.

Overall purpose of the role/key tasks:

• The development, testing, setup and support of an in-house talent management platform.


• Web applications with Asp.net using C#, SQL (including stored procedures), Javascript, XML, XSL


• In this role, you will be encouraged to get involved with all phases of the software development and testing lifecycle working within a diverse team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customisation and development of a .Net-based platform


• Set up and upgrade client web applications


• Provide support to internal administration and operations team in responding to first and second line support queries.


• Attend client meetings concerning the on-going customisation and development of the Talent Management system

Principal Internal / External Contacts:

• Clients – Corporates in multiple sectors plus Training Organisations, Business Schools.


• In house delivery team


• Technical Director

Key skills required:

• Web applications with Asp.net using C#, SQL (including stored procedures), Javascript, XML,XSL


• Experience building mobile apps an advantage


• Software testing experience


• Demonstrated Appreciation of current and emerging technologies


• Degree educated in Computer Science or similar Educational Level/professional qualifications (minimum requirement)

Behavioural Skills:

• Strong communication skills are essential , both written and spoken (these will be tested)


• Ability to work autonomously, but also co-operatively with the rest of the team


• Willingness to work alongside the rest of the team and help out when required


• Ability to be proactive and use initiative


• Excited by the prospect of working in a start-up environment

Remuneration:
