Tutors required in London - Travelling essential

Are you a qualified teacher with experience in Mainstream and SEN Education?

Are you available between the hours of 9am to 12pm and/or 12pm to 4pm?

This is a unique opportunity to work with students that derive from a care background as well as tackling some possible behavioural needs. The main objective is to work at the home of the students or at a convenient educational space, and focus on the specific academic needs of the student, this could usually be:

*Core Subjects (Maths, English Science)
*Vocational/creative Subjects (Art, Music, Design)

Experience in more than 1 subject is essential in order to give the child an opportunity to grow in more than 1 area.
Planning and work will need to be provided by the tutor, although, as you will be working 1:1 you can be more direct with planning rather than differentiating for an entire class of 30.

As a teacher you will be required to assess and produce an Individual Educational Plan (IEP) or a feedback related form for each child worked with and is to be reviewed by the school team and parents every 2/3 weeks. The IEP aims to nurture and address any requirements, along with targets for improvement.

*An optimistic outlook and the skill to encourage students
*Ability to tap into a student’s imagination and expand upon sensory tools
*Positive behaviour management
