Hotel Guest Reservations P/T - Temp
My client are a opulent and leading 4 Start hotel, situated within a short walk of Gloucester Road station in the heart of London. They are recruiting on a Temporary, part-time basis for an experienced Reservations Agent, with knowledge and experience of using the Opera reservation system, and someone who can hit the ground running in this type of role.
Key Features of the Role:
Ensuring accurate and complete entries in the reservation system in accordance with procedures
Performing tasks covering all areas of Front Office work, including check-ins and check-outs, cash and account balancing and making sure that all cash logs for Front Office are updated
Complaint handling in a calm, effective and efficient manner,ensuring all issues are followed up and resolved before guestdeparture
Answering calls in a polite and professional manner
Entering reservations on to the Opera Hotel Reservations System (Essential Knowledge required)
Liaising with housekeeping and other departments to provide excellent service to guests and projecting a professional image of the hotel at all times
Accounting and Cash handling, developing knowledge of the billing processes and 3rd party websites (Expedia, LateRooms, )
This is a short term temporary role, working 3 Days a week (approx 25 hours – flexible), for around 4-6 weeks (possibly longer).
