Based in London


Basic salary up to £24,000 + Bonus


International Training & conference business specialising in Finance & IT have developed a new opportunity for an experienced marketing executive to join the marketing team and focus on the


The role


Alongside the marketing & conference team you will be focused on developing marketing plans to drive revenue growth across the conference & training events. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement the marketing strategy for 4 large international conferences & an established portfolio of training courses. These events are globally recognised and established with their sector, some of the conferences are in their 13th year. Social media & digital marketing are encouraged along with a mix of more traditional marketing strategies.


Your responsibilities will include:


– Planning, co-ordinating and developing the training and conference campaigns alongside the Head of Marketing and Conference/Training Director


– Email writing, sending and analysis


– Working alongside the designer to create Conference and Training brochures and ensure that these are kept up to date throughout the conference marketing cycle and the training calendar


– Work alongside the Training Director to liaise with trainers to update copy and content


– Developing relationships with marketing partners and associations in relevant industries


– Website maintenance and developing digital content


– Managing marketing costs against a budget


– Liaising with external suppliers, including printers, mailhouse etc.


– Taking a lead role in developing the media strategy around conferences and training


– To update and maintain the company twitter account and LinkedIn presence


The person


A team player with great organisation skills, who enjoys working in a creative and professional environment. This role would suit a graduate marketing executive with excellent multi-tasking skills and who can successfully organises their activities to work within time and budget pressures.


Key experience include:


– 12 months conference or training marketing skills


– Experience in online and offline marketing


– Excellent copywriting and proof-reading abilities


– Excellent communication skills


– High level of computer literacy (HTML experience would be an advantage)


– Experience in digital marketing would be an advantage
