Risk Analyst, Risk Management, Stakeholder, Financial Services, Banking, Contract, London, 6 Months

My Client is recruiting for an experienced Risk Analyst. The company is a well known, recognised leading brand in their financial market and this is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to join a market leading business.

The potential candidate should:
*Have an idea of how an Investment Bank works and knowledge of the different asset classes
*Have an understanding of Risk Management and the different risk types
*Have specific Market Risk Management knowledge, e.g. VaR and capital components
*Understand different types of VaR settings and scope, diversification, volatility etc
*Be proficient in Excel and VBA

EXPERIENCE
The potential candidate should ideally:
*Have experience in Risk Management
*(preferably) have PRM, FRM, CFA or equivalent
*Demonstrate logical and analytical skill set in addition to being articulate and a quick learner
*Have experience in project work, liaising with multiple stakeholders
*Have proven experience in process development/improvement

Primary Skill: Understanding of VAR and ideally exposure to finance
Secondary Skill: VBA Skills

Location: London
Duration: 6 Months
