Working for a charity that focuses on helping people transform their lives, we are recruiting for a Business Development Manager that will generate income through preparing bids and tenders.

This role will suit someone that has excellent bid management experience, is experienced in working with local authorities and managing a pipeline of bids and tenders.

The successful candidate will:
– Work with commissioning bodies to promote and sell the charity’s services and products
– Writing and winning significant sized bids/tenders/proposals
– Have knowledge of statutory and voluntary income funding mechanisms and the external funding environment
– An understanding of how market research and analysis can contribute to strong product development, bids, tenders and proposals and how these interlink to generate income
– Knowledge and understanding of the local and national commissioning landscape
