Job Title: Tableau Developer/Analyst

Salary: £60,000-£70,000 per annum

Location: London (EC2A)

Contract: Perm / full time

Are you an experienced Developer/Analyst within Tableau Reporting?

We have an excellent opportunity based in London, seeking an individual with working experience within an investment management organisation.

You will work within the in-house data management team, delivering reported required by various business teams.

Job duties:

• Use Business Intelligence tools


• Reporting requirements capture & analysis and build clear reports


• Liaison across user teams for consolidation of common requirements


• Prioritise business stakeholders requirements & manage consolidated reporting development schedule


• Produce data requirements, including identification of additional data items


• Design reports including review and sign off with business stakeholders


• Input to the process (owned by the Integration and Architecture A/D) of identifying appropriate data sources & design changes to the reporting data structures


• Involved in all aspects of testing reporting outputs including development of test strategies, use cases, test scripts & test data


• Liaise with Tableau for management of upgrade work when necessary

Skills/experience required:

• Graduate level in any IT-related subject (or equivalent)


• Experience working within an investment management organisation;


• Experience with Equity, Fixed Income, Derivative, Private Equity, Hedge Funds & cash asset classes


• Evident familiarity with all functions within an Investment business


• Understanding of investment reporting required to support; Operations, Front Office, Compliance, Risk etc.


• Test planning, preparation, execution & incident management in project/business test program


• SQL – MS SQL Server and Oracle – DDL, Stored Procedures, PL-SQL, Query optimisation and tuning


• Microsoft.Net – C#, ASP.Net, MVC, WebAPI, MSTest


• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)


• BI Tools – Tableau, QlikView, SSRS


• SCC and CI – Team Foundation Server, MSBuild


• Powershell (useful)


• Office – Excel VBA (useful)
