Events Assistant - University College London - London

The

Research Coordination Office (RCO)

is an integrated team who work to encourage cross-disciplinary research communities and collaborations; increase the success of research funding applications; and develop UCL’s health-related research strategy.

The RCO hosts and supports a variety of symposia, conferences, seminars and workshops, the diversity of which reflects the wide areas of research that we support. The Event Assistant will be responsible for working with the Communications and Events Officers to support the organisation of these events.


This post is funded to 28 February 2017 in the first instance.


Key Requirements

The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills (written and oral) including spelling, grammar and editing, highly developed organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines, on a range of concurrent projects. They will have experience of events administration work and of managing/organising meetings, small events or projects.
