Role:


As Assistant Sales Operations Manager – Hotels Team, the key objective is to improve operational efficiencies and support the Hotels Team in the USA – the position will be based in New York.


You will bring an enthusiastic can-do attitude with coupled with online travel market place knowledge and a high level of hospitality operational savvy. In addition, the capability to establish and develop long term relationships with both internal and external customers around the world will be a key to your success. You’ll also have an engaging personality, disciplined work habits, and attention to detail.


Responsibilities:


  1. Assist with development requirements, implementation and maintenance of systems, tools and workflows

  2. Become specialist in the firm’s Hotels Team systems/tools and provide training to new staff

  3. Support partners connecting to the YCS XML API

  4. Manage operational project tasks as assigned

  5. Providing support to hotels team and connectivity partners using an automated ticketing system

Requirements:


  • Bachelor or equivalent degree required

  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in hospitality industry – e-commerce, distribution or systems experience a bonus!

  • Understand the principles of conversion, ROI and financial metrics associated with online advertising and online partnerships

  • Professional “get it done” attitude and work ethic;

  • Adapts well to and is energized by change;

  • Previous history in planning and delivering engaging training

  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English
