Learning Support Assistant - Year 4 EBD

A position for a Learning Support Assistant has become available in a mainstream Primary School in Haringey. This particular role is to work on a 1:1 basis with a year 4 student who has Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. This is a full time long term position starting as soon as possible and ongoing throughout the rest of the academic year. (July 2016)

The ideal candidate will have the ability to support a vulnerable young boy with additional needs and challenging behaviour. Good behaviour management skills, academic background and the ability to build relationships and rapport are desirable. Previous experience working in a PRU or challenging students would be a bonus but is not essential. This particular position requires long term commitment as continuity is a key factor for the child.

Located in Haringey the school is a 12 minute walk from the mainline tube station. The school pride themselves on the high achievements of pupils, friendly staff and a “Good” rating with some outstanding features’Good’ Ofsted rating with some outstanding features.
